Many of the plants you can buy in a florist shop or which are exposed in the Botanic garden of your City, are originally from the tropic and subtropic Rain Forest. Besides many different kinds of trees, fern, bromelias, palms and orchids you will find cactuses, climbers, mushrooms etc. ….

On one hectar there are approx. 450 different species of plants. The variety of plants in the Mata Atlantica is even bigger than in the Amazon.
